The (Student ID card) is the official identification, library and on campus debit card for all Hartnell College students, faculty and staff. Individuals deposit funds into their CatCard accounts and then can debit against their balances. Click here to log into the Catcard Payment System using your Hartnell Student ID and password. Please follow the instructions below: using your Hartnell ID and password (same as for PAWS) Click on Account, then Personal Information. UPLOAD photo. If you already have a photo then you DO NOT need to upload a new one. If you are having trouble with your login, email ithelp@hartnell.edu Follow these recommendations when uploading your photo as it will be approved or denied based on this information: Make sure the photo presents the full head from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin. Center your head with the frame, face forward (no tilted or side view) No sunglasses or hats. You should have a neutral expression and be facing the camera Use a neutral background The minimum size of the photo should be: Width: 272 px. Height: 314 px, if the photo is larger than: Width 816 px. Height: 942 px., it will be resized to these dimensions. You are able to manage your electronic ID card at that site. If you want to use your Electronic ID card on your smartphone, download the Touchnet OneCard app, look for Hartnell College, Your electronic ID can be accessed there by using your login used for the college (same as for PAWS) . Payment of the Student Activities fee activates the Student/CATCard ID. Students may pay their Student Activities fee at the cashier’s office and then present their receipt to the Office of Student Life located in the College Center, Room C-140 to receive their CatCard. The CatCard can be used to obtain various on-campus services and to pay for things such as: Attending athletic events Attending The Western Stage events Identification for Hartnell Student Services Fitness Lab/Weight Room log-in Receive benefits and Services provided by the Office of Student Life and ASHC Using various library services Computer printing costs Photo copies Bookstore purchases Cafeteria purchases Why the CatCard? The CatCard offers several advantages to students, faculty and staff at the college. It eliminates the need to carry cash. It facilitates college life by providing a means to pay for printing and photocopying. It is safe, as you will need a PIN number for purchases. What if I lose my CatCard? Lost or Stolen Hartnell ID Cards have a $5.00 replacement fee (paid at the Cashier’s Office). Lost or stolen cards can be deactivated online at catcard.hartnell.edu Lost or stolen cards should be reported to the Student Activities Coordinator, located in the Office of Student Life, located in the Student Center, Room C-140. Students have the following CatCard care responsibilities: Hartnell College is not responsible for cash balances and services obtained through lost or stolen cards. You must safeguard your CatCard. Your CatCard identification number is printed on the back of the card. Your default Password is the last four digits on your identification number. It is strongly recommended that you change your Password number immediately to protect your CatCard. You are responsible for all transactions on the card until it is reported lost. Your CatCard must be shown on demand to any officer or agent of Hartnell College. What can I do with my CatCard? Your CatCard can be used at the following locations: Copier/Printing Dollars - Are required in order to use the microfiche printers, copiers, or any of the computer printers. Library - Your CatCard also serves as your library card. Bookstore - Your CatCard can be used to purchase items in the Hartnell College Bookstore. Cafeteria - Your CatCard can be used to purchase food items. Identification - Your CatCard is your college identification card on campus. Merchant Discounts - Local merchants may provide purchase discounts. How do I put money on my CatCard or buy a guest CatCard? Hartnell College students have the capability to deposit money on their CatCard via Automatic Deposit Machines (ADM) located on the main campus within the new Hartnell College Library/LRC, copy room located on the 1st floor. An ADM is also located at the King City Education Center. Deposits made with the ADM machines can only be used for copying and printing. Students can also make a deposit to their CatCard using the Hartnell College’s Online CatCard System using a credit or debit card, just log in with your Student ID and PIN . Deposits made only can be used not only for printing and copying but also for purchases within the bookstore and cafeteria. CatCards can now be used by faculty to print photocopies. Photocopiers can be found in the LRC and the 2nd floor of the E building. CatCards are issued to students on their first semester at Hartnell. CatCards for returning students are activated upon payment of the Student Services/Activity fee. A refund may be requested, prior to July 31st for the previous academic year, for balances over $10 at the Cashier’s window. A check will be issued within six weeks of the request. CatCards do not expire; however, ID Card balances, for the prior academic year, will be forfeited after July 31.
